When I got out of the house this morning, it was about -15°c. Now I have friends living in Saskatchewan and Yellowknife, and all these crazy places on our fair earth, but I'm not them, and I don't live there (yet. famous last words? ugh..). Yeah, but my mitts are so unfashionable! I only wear them when I'm out for sports or to the grocery store - essentially when I can't put my hands in my pockets! :P

I can't remember where I saw it, but someone was videoed throwing boiling water into the air and having it turn into fog immediately! So awesome! Like something -30degrees in Canada or somewhere like that.

When it got to below -5C (which was rare in Vancouver), I throw on the ski jacket and fashion be damned :p What you've described for 0C to -10C was pretty much what I wore for 0C to 8C, heh.

Heh, from 0 to 8°c I wear a wool peacoat that's lined but not padded. But always hats. Above 4°c I wear fingerless mitts.
