Moving right along now, until I get caught up. Anna, original. Le mot du jour was "wound". Warfare-related violence, some gore, description of mutilation. I actually did like 15 seconds' of Wikipedia research on this one. :D

This one is speshully for dethorats, who once expressed the desire to know what happened to Anna's hand.

Oh ho, and yet it is STILL something of a mystery since even Anna does not know what did it. Never mind, though. This was a most satisfying answer and the description of the actual loss of her fingers and the pain seems about right to me (stemming from what little research I myself have done thanks to my love of a one-armed pirate) and "the loss fresh and new" also jives well. God, you used the word 'terminous' and it made me disgustingly happy and I don't even know why. Your prose is just so scrumtrilescent (thanks, SNL, for that one).
