“We have to find a way to fix it. I don’t want to be a girl forever. I don’t want to be short forever,” Yuuto spoke, twiddling with one of the ribbons decorating the stick of his mask.

Airi stared down at her boots. He was right, they had to do something. She went back on everything that she remembered, reading about Time Travel and stuff. Nothing seemed to come to her about being able to go back to the Present, at all. She closed her eyes and let out a breath.
"Okay, listen- first of all, you tell me your name, because I don't know you yet." She could see him have a shocked expression on his face.
"SECOND- I'm sorry, this is my fault." She couldn't believe she was saying this.
"THIRD- You're not the only person who's devastated here." She said, in short breaths, gesturing at her own- sad, flat chest.

“You are,” deep breath, “right. I’m sorry. It’s just. This is weird. The weirdest thing that’s ever happened to me before this is that okaa-chan didn’t call me Yuu-pyon in front of my girlfriend. I don’t know how to deal with this stuff.” Smiling a bit brighter, he smoothed out the front of the dress. “Hey, at least you still look good. I look ridiculous as a girl. Let’s go around and see what we can do, ne?”

"Sure. Let's." She said, leading the way and going around the place. Was this really a dream? If it were a movie- the guy in charge of casting sure did a good job finding all these foreigners; and the Costume Designer making all these costumes.
Airi looked back at her costume. It seemed so awfully real. So real, she swore she was smelling a delectable smell coming from the West of the Ballroom.
She was about to tell Yuto about the wonderful smell when she realized he was looking back at her.

But he was no dancer. He preferred to be the one playing music, and had only danced ballroom for one event in his life when he was six, so hopefully she didn’t mind it took much.

She laughed while she moved to the music. She's always thought she was a good dancer. And a good singer. It was just awkward for her to move.. in a guy's body.
She wondered why there weren't any cameras. Or watches. She noticed the watch she was wearing a while ago, disappeared.
But, she didn't care at this time, though. She didn't care about anything except her, her feet, this she-male in front of her, and the unmistakeable aroma of food coming from the West.

It was really odd. She still smelled vaguely like a girl, shampoo, perfume, didn’t matter, and it was causing this uncomfortable fluttering in his stomach. No, he refused to acknowledge that they were butterflies. They were not butterflies. Butterflies were a girl thing.
Oh the irony right now, he wanted to slap himself.
“Hey…Suzuki-chan, what made you go to the boutique?” They had gotten a whole lot closer, he was panicking again inside his head, and he’s pretty sure he’d step on the dress any moment now and trip. This must definitely be a girl thing.

Yuto asked her something, and Airi's head started to itch. Perfect.
"I don't know. Why are you asking me? Do you like me or something?" She snarked, rolling her eyes while laughing mockingly. A bitch was always a bitch.

This felt unlike him, to snap and to yell, but somehow, the way she said her words made him want to talk back. It was a huge understatement to say he was annoyed by her, what she said. The shimmer of violins in the background, and Yuuto looked up at her (now that, that was something he could never get used to), wondering what to do next since she had cut his attempt to start a conversation short.

"Well, I was looking for a place to read a book, when I saw a dark place in the middle of Diamond City." She chuckled.
The music changed, and she noted- all the people started dancing about a meter away from them. Airi felt a little special.
"You know, Nakajima-" she says, looking down at him.
"You look like me when you're a girl."

“And I can say the same for you. Long lost twins?” he mused, serious for only a moment before bursting into laughter. Truthfully, she did look a lot like him right now, as a guy. After a moment’s contemplation, Yuuto added with a wink, “I make a prettier girl though.”

"Oh, really?" She asks, tightening her grip on Yuto's waist, head falling near his shoulders. Her mask brushed his, it felt of velvet and cotton.
"Does that make me a hotter guy?" She whispered, breath tickling his ear.
Oddly, Airi felt like she was being the guy here.

Her arm was around his waist (hmm, when did that get there?) and he found it extremely hard to breathe right now. Her breath on his skin made him want to squirm but he stayed still, uncomfortable. This was kind of wrong. They didn’t even technically know each other. If he was still a guy right now, he’d love to pin her against the wall and ravish her and-stop, Yuuto, stop, that’d bad, no, no, no.
“Hotter? Nahh, in your dreams,” responding with his trademark smile, he half wondered if he could kiss her and get away with it. She started it, anyways.

She looked around and sees that the people have doubled in number.
What was she doing in this place? She had things to do, and books to read. She shouldn't be here, dancing with some person she barely knew.
She pulled away and felt woozy after separating from Yuto.
Then, her nose itched.

Yuuto found himself holding her hand again, half tugging, half guiding her away from the crowd. The heels were killing him, how did girls manage these things? “Maybe, we can find the manager-san or whoever’s leading this thing, and explain we’re here by mistake. Or something.”
Truthfully, he didn’t even think they were in Japan anymore, much less the boutique.
