I'm at a town in Michigan, which is apparently the first wireless town in America. Didn't know they'd charge me for it, though.
When you open a browser it directs you to the paying page where you enter your credit card info. That's the only page you can access until you fork over some money. =b
I don't think anyone really a better reason than that, and actually I did the math. It's somehow cheaper to do the wireless thing than cable or broadband, or heavens, a T line. So how's, "To get more bang for my buck," for a reason? Sounds good, no?
