Wouldn't be any different to labor's lies. Liberals haven't put the economy into deficit. Labor's track record indicates that they do. That's the only reason I would pick them over Labor. In the end, their campaign promises are pointless and usually full of shit anyway, so the budget is the only factor I can really decide on. I really wish I hadn't voted for beattie when the last qld election took place, but I REALLY didn't like that fat fucker... borbidge?
Anyway, it really doesn't matter, nothing ever changes. It's all pointless, they've got the big stick for another four years, good for them. Ease the squeeze my arse. If I had been there to vote I would've voted against labor for that too. Always giving tax breaks to medium income earners and fucking families. Fuck the families, give me a tax break! doesn't matter any more :)
But on the other hard, if you're going to become a die-hard labor supporter, at least in four years there'll be even more money for them to waste of frivilous endeavors.
It was however inevitable. I didn't think there was nearly enough support for labor and there was plenty for the lib/nats. (as demonstrated by thier 30+ seat win) In fact, the liberals have demonstrated their greatest support increase (in the number of seats won) since somewhere in the 60s. Personally, I think this is because of the perception that Latham is really stupid, or incompetent, or something. Anyway I don't think people generally like *him* as opposed to policy and the rest. I think labor needs a more charismatic leader.
