awww. we've definitely been through a lot. Growing up is hard, so is growing apart. but it's true that no matter what happens I will always love and care about you, the same way I will for my actual sisters :)
i love you, mer, so much. thank you for being so nice to ME, and thank you for being the kind of friend who--even if we haven't talked in months--i can just pick up the phone and call without any feelings of weirdness.

I was looking through my old aol mail the other day (I use yahoo now) and I was looking at emails I had saved - and I came across the one you sent me when my sister had her miscarriage two years ago - it was one of the most beautiful things anyone has ever said to me :)
