As most of you already know, Diana Wynne Jones passed away last night at the grand old age of 76.

I've tweeted a lot concerning the lack of Chrestomanci books in my county's public library - that is to say, there are none. They were there when I was small and obsessed with Harry Potter and magic and spent most of my free time in my elementary

If your library still isn't listening, you could always try buying extra copies yourself and donating them. Failing that, see if you can get a small petition going. Libraries are usually pretty amenable to acquiring material if you can prove people will be checking them out.

I'm currently unemployed, so there's a reason I'm not JUMPING TO BUY THEM and instead requesting them. Sadly enough I did get a petition going and got about fifty signatures, which you think would be enough for a county public library system. But they never got back to me on it.

basically they are being dumb. :(

Well, when I come into more money without straining my bank account the books will be the first things I'll buy, for sure.
