So when the morning came, Soter finally walked Clotho all the way home. Being deities really had its perks. They hadn't gone to the club in anything remotely walk-friendly, shoe-wise, but unlike the humans, they weren't suffering from blisters or sore feet after all that walking. He'd left his father's temple, Strifey Dog in hand, and was fully intent upon visiting one of two people...His wife, who was likely to insert one of her desinger spike heels into his gut and twist it...several times over, or Sephy...whom he had news to give.

But then He heard Soter's call and he'd stopped mid travel and blinked...

Ooook, curiousity got to him.

Wondering what Soter wanted, he appeared before Safety with his head cocked to the side, and dumped the dog to the ground in a loveless manner.

"What's up?" He asked, a hand running through his blonde locks.

In a jolt of speed he felt himself whisked away and into the courtyard where he was dropped. The dog grunted as it hit the ground, thankfully landing on all fours even if he wasn't a cat. Beady eyes darted from Hermes to this...

Who was that? He walked over to him and sniffed his leg.

Soter looked down at what could be the rattiest dog that ever breathed (why didn't people just be honest with themselves and put a RAT on a leash instead of THIS?!), then grinned at Hermes ( ... )

"Kick him...hard. Maybe it will finally get something through his head..." Hermes said, indicating Strife.

As for the brother part, well...Hermes wasn't very surprised to hear that at all. But he smiled softly, and pulled Soter along in a walk- fully expecting Strife to follow them...and wishing he wouldn't. (what? Strife wandering off would just open the doors to cause the little mutt a bit of pain.)

"Well, Brother..." Heh, that was kinda weird, "Why, first of all, are you protecting her? and from what?"
