Zeus noted the bird and when she approached, he took the bottle first and held it up. Peering at the hair, he made a 'tsk' sound and rolled his eyes, then unrolled the parchement.

Upon reading the second letter, he scoffed, drew his quill and scratched a response, this time not even bothering to summon new paper. He merely flipped the first letter over and began to print on the back in the same bold, block letters as before:

I MUST SAY THAT I AM APPALLED THAT YOU WOULD THINK TO FORCE *MY* HAND BY THREATENING MY SON. HACKING OFF BITS OF HIS HAIR WOULD DO NOTHING FOR ME, BUT MIGHT SEND THE VAIN BASTARD INTO FITS. HOWEVER, SHOULD YOU SEND MORE OF HIS BODY TO ME, I WILL SEE TO IT THAT YOU, YOUR GIRLFRIEND AND SO ON WILL GET NO REST AS YOU WILL BE SPENDING THE REST OF YOUR ETERNAL LIVES RUNNING FROM MY HEAVY HAND ( ... )
