Lethe did something with
that loony Kharite that had chased a whole handful, a smorgasbord of pills down with vodka like they had been something as innocent as sunflower seeds! It had relieved him immensely to be rid of her presence in his house! What a bloody loon! He didn't remember Pasithea very well, but he never remembered any Kharite being

Lethe pressed her fingers to her temple as she took a drink from her glass. "You were saying about showing me how pretty I am?" Lethe looked up at Anteros, still not believing him.

"I suppose I'm more of the living contradiction variety myself. Born mutual love, to love and be loved---later on I become the scourge of all those who would scorn it. I'm the prickly thorn of the rose of Love, and all the other erotes are her gentle and silken petals."

Lethe really wanted to comfort Anteros. She wanted to make him feel better in any way that she could. "I promise I won't bite."

Anteros leaned away from her, drifting backwards on his hunches long enough to gather the limp material of his robe within the grasp of his fingers and pull it around himself loosely, again fastening the belt and dismissing his wings under the stealth of invisibility.
Afterwards he managed to pull himself upon his couch, reclining with his head in her lap.
"I shall be very grateful."

"I wish you wouldn't look so sad.. I wish there was something I could do for you Anteros. But I have a feeling, that if I offered you what your heart desired that you would not accept my offer." Lethe's eyes, a swirl of silver lost in a dark dark void were locked on him.
