But interactions in the past with lust and love goddesses had made Hebe just a bit paranoid. And she'd placed automatic protections on herself.
As Flidais worked within her sphere of influence, Hebe's protections worked countermeasures, sucking every bit of lift, and vitality and youth from Flidais's breasts and genitals.
The person she most suspected of trying to temper with her personality was Aphrodite, due to years of long held suspicion and dread and not a little shared hostility. So the automatic retaliation was especially cruel, for Hebe.
But until she, now he, consciously noticed anything wrong with himself, he wasn't likely to backtrack and see who his personal protections had ensnared.

Having already arrived at the center courtyard, all Flidais felt a slight pull back. Thinking that it was Ares and that the trouble that had caused him to run off had past, the still rather aggravated goddess silently spoke out.
"I do not think it is wise for me to return, lest I act out upon my frustrations and do something that I will regret."
Heading from the courtyard toward her home, Flidais continues her silent conversation oblivious to where the tug originated from and who she was actually talking to.
"Are you feeling well? It was a bit disconcerting to see you run of like that."
