She sighed at the idea of more spawn nearby, and rested her cheek on her ssiter's shoulder for a moment to get a sense of them, her voice echoing into Enyo's mind.
>Elpis and Ate. And I do not want to deal with one of them if she's going to spew... that's just gross. Let's keep and eye on them, and decide if they can be useful.<
She stood straight, and looked at the shield in front of them... if you unfocused just the right way you could see it.
>I'm itching to et inside... no one does this without doing something that's not amusing inside...
"Oh, agreed, my poppet..." Enyo smirked. "No one ever locks a door unless there's something delicious behind it... or dangerous. Either way, a fine time for us both!"
The redhead nodded her assent to her twin's thoughts on the spawnlets.
"You're too right, love. Vomit is -not- one of my bodily fluids of choice, generally speaking." Enyo qualified this statement because it was all right if you were torturing someone and they vomited because you'd just slammed a mace into his or her stomach - so long as none got on your outfit.
She cast a glance to the two younger goddesses, and pondered them.
"They must be here for the other spawnling. And if things are dodgy inside, as we can only... ahem... hope they are," Enyo grinned perversely at her own pun, "then one can guess that little Hopey might have some way inside, no?"
“No, I’m not gonna puke. I’m totally not gonna puke.” She squeezed her sister’s hand with her other one, and though she still looked a little green around the gills, and more than a little distracted, she seemed to be recovering. Standing up straight, looking toward where she imagined the shield to be, Hope continued,
“He’s looking a little better. There’s a couple of Underworlders in there who were patching him up. But he still looks like shit warmed over.”
She shook her head.
“We should probably get him outta there. It ain’t cute.”
But then, Hope looked like she’d been jolted, and she almost stumbled back.
“Fuckin’ A! What the fuck is going on! There is some Fucked. Up. Shit. Happening on the mountain right now.”
She looked at Ate. “It’s Dark. And something’s happening near my place. I think at the Temple of War. Crazy shit.”
don't worry about the Mountain... That's got nothing to do with us. They lasted eons without our constant presense... they don't need it now. Let's get Strife, and get out of here...
Her expression hardened as she looked back towards where they bounced...thinking this was it. After this little deal with getting Strife out, she was done with Olympus... Life was easier when she'd been banned and none of this affected her.
Could you contact him at all? I can work at weakening this shied, but it might take a while... Mentally, she began probing at it carefully...she was used to working under the radar, and had no doubt she could do this undetected... this was a shield tossed up quick... so there wa a weakness somewhere.
