Smash it up

Sigyn didn’t know what was wrong with her. Every so often, strange new sensations and ideas skipped through her system giddily, making her momentarily lose herself in the…chaotic element of those rogue feelings. Was it just the weather? She supposed that the climate could have something to do with it. After all, the Greek and Egyptian pantheons ( Read more... )

She giggled like a fiend.

"Yes! Yes, Siggy, YES! This is the way Daddy and I do dishes, and look at what a lovely job you did!"

Rinna impulsively hugged Sigyn, and then grabbed another plate. This one went through the kitchen window and landed in pieces outside in the courtyard.

"Oops!"

And then she did it again!

Ruina was congratulating her, but Sigyn still felt a little uncomfortable with breaking things. There were bits of broken plate everywhere, plates that would have been completely reusable had they been washed. Personally, she didn't see the need for destroying things that could be used again. She didn't see the need for destroying things full stop, but this was...well, she couldn't really argue. This was how Ruina and Seth's household worked, how could she go against their household rules ( ... )

Ruina was practically floating on glee. She clapped her hands together with excitement when Sigyn destroyed a whole stackfull of plates! And they weren't even used!

AWESOME!

"Sigyn! Lovely! LOVELY!"

Carried away, Rinna grabbed one of Seth's favorite blenders (and whyyyyyyyyyyyy it was his favorite, and whyyyyyyyyyyyyy Seth needed more than one blender, Rinna would never tell!) and smashysmashed it right into the mess of china that Sigyn created.

"It needed cleaning too!"

The encouragement from Ruina only made the chaos work harder, whizzing around inside of her as though she was one big rollercoaster of innocence, ready and ripe to be corrupted into smashing, breaking and generally causing havoc. Stripping down moral fibres and values as if they were old wallpaper, the chaos filled Sigyn with new thoughts and ideas; revolution, freedom, equality, destruction, silliness, violence, sex appeal, confidence promiscuity...

...it just went on and on.

Sigyn blinked, feeling very strange, and up some forks out of the cutlery drawer. They clanked in her hand as she opened them microwave, then threw them in and set the timer going. Taking Ruina's hand, she led the Goddess to safety behind a table and chairs as the microwave exploded, sending forks steaming across the kitchen like little fire-tipped missiles.

Peering over the edge of the table, she looked at the Egyptian.

"Those also were dirty" she grinned
