I'm trying to write fic today, but I'm also feeling quite guilty about not doing enough reading and commenting on other people's fic, including awesome friends who are amazing writers and deserve pages and pages of praise

No, no! I'm the one who should be sorry for being such a terrible excuse for a fan of your work (and others). I need to get back in the reading habit, particularly long fic. Because I want it! I want lots and lots of it. And if I don't feed my favorite authors, my favorite authors will stop producing such stupendiculous stuff! /o\

Haha. spn_springfling fics are due Sunday. Can you believe I just trashed the idea I'd worked on all morning and started over? I hate myself.

I knowwww. I've made progress, but man, am I rusty. Six months since I've written anything at all. A year since I've written SPN. Oy!

may I suggest that you list the fics you did this with so we can use them as rec posts? part of the problem with lack of activity on lj is that I see fewer and fewer recs so I don't know what to read!
