Aaron Sorkin is MY LORD AND SAVIOR

Oct 02, 2010 23:31

Husband and I went to the movies see "The Social Network" tonight.

The sad part? It's the first actual movie in a theater we've seen in 2010.

The great part? EVERYTHING SINGLE THING ELSE.

(For serious, only Aaron could make two hours of people talking and typing on keyboards absolutely gripping. Also, bonus!JT for the win.)

Hee! I loved that show LIKE CRAZY. If only I'd known about fandom (and slash!) back then, I'm sure I would've been right in the thick of things. :)

It's the trifecta of great writing/great directing/great acting. The point of the story itself ended up being kind of by-the-by for me.

Yeah, MySpace, what the hell is that? [/Dean]

It was terrific! The casting/acting was phenomenal and the banter was classic Sorkin.

Sports Night icon!

I haven't seen the movie yet, but there's no way I'd miss it.

FUN!

There were certain lines in it that made me miss West Wing and/or Sports Night so much I wanted to CRY. Oh Sorking Snark, I love you so.

Even despite all the good reviews, I went into it not expecting all that much and was SO SURPRISED by how caught up in it I was. Anti-heros ftw!
