I agree with all of this. :(

I mean, it was a fun episode in some other ways and I enjoy the Winchesters being attractive on my TV, but I kept getting thrown out of it by all this stuff.

If I was a beta on this fanfic, I'd've sent it back with copious comments, just sayin'.

(I mean, dude. Sam goes missing for TWO HOURS and comes back acting all squirrelly and Dean doesn't even raise an eyebrow? OKAY. OKAY. I AM STOPPING WITH THE NITPICKING NOW.)

two posts before this on my flist was someone else's reaction that boiled down to "that was great!" heh.

i giggled at gary!sam (because he was kind of adorable) but yeah, why did it take dean so long to figure out something was wrong? something about him seemed off. also, sam, honey, you know how to lie better than that.

edit to add: did gary!sam pitch ALL of dean's phones, and if so, how did dean not notice? and if there was a phone left, real!sam no doubt called it, so why didn't dean, you know, ANSWER?

Hey, I get that. It definitely had its scenes that were fun!! I think I was the victim of the dreaded High Expectations. /o\

IDK, Gary seemed more like my 13yo than any 17yo I know. Even the frustrated virgins. ;)

Parts of it were quite hilarious in their own dumb way. :) I can't get past the 'shake it up, baby' --- I watched that scene five times in a row and clapped like my hands and stamped my feet every. Single. Time.

Also, our boy doesn't get that body just eating salad. Not by a long shot. *refrains from making lewd references to possible alternative sources of protein*

How do you mess up a bodyswap ep, Des? HOW? Even the little faux-heart-to-heart over burgers and beers set piece I felt was heavy-handed and nonsensical from both Dean's and Gary's povs. *sigh* So much potential, down the drain.
