Random Acts of Poetry Week!

Oct 05, 2009 17:37

I don't know if anyone else around knows about Random Acts of Poetry Week but as part of the Creative Writing class in my school, I felt duty-bound to spread it: particularly after I heard it was an international kind of thing.

So of course I was sitting in class trying to figure out what in the world I was going to do when I realised this:
I should just write about kAT-TUN!

Yepp. That's right. Poetry about KAT-TUN. You know you're a fangirl when.

But it's not all that bad. I made it into a sort of guessing game: every day this week I'll post 1 - 2 poems, each one representing another member of KAT-TUN and then at the end of  the week I'll post the last member in my random order as well as one that represents KAT-TUN as a whole (if I can write a good enough one), as well as the answers for all of the poems.

My only worry is whether or not anyone will care. haha.
So! Today's poems:

#1
"A sunny storm of gentle winds
And irksome rain
You shake your fist and wonder why
And curse
But truly do you know
You never really mind
And carry along on your way"

#2
"Seems pure as whitest snow
But at a closer look, you find
Thin ice beneath
Fathoms deep, but rather clear
Look closer yet, you'll see
The playful current underneath
And an impish tug's there too"

jaa... ganbatte nee~ Once you catch the metaphors, guessing the characters is easy: I just hope you'll catch them! Well, if you care enough you can check them later and try to see them once you have the answers too ^^

By the way!! Please please comment with your guesses; I'd like to see poeple's first impressions and if you change your mind after reading the next ones, etc
