At our regular bar, I ran into a REAL CUTE and REAL SWEET dude (who had outrageous dimples :D) I went to high school with. We always chatted nicely, and one night, my very drunk BFF told him I thought he was "super cute." He said "She's super cute, too, but she's always on her phone!" (I may or may not have been reading fic at the time)

Hee! I have to remove shot_goth's iPhone from her hand by force to get it switched off at bedtime. Otherwise I get cock-blocked (uh... what's the gal-on-gal equivalent? Pussy-blocked?) by tweets from Misha Collins. Or woken up by Christian Kane. Or Eliza Dushku. *sigh*

A guy took me out on a first date and we ran into some of his buddies at a bar. He proceeded to get so shit-faced drunk with them that I had to pour him into his car and drive him home, where I left him in the parking lot to sleep it off.

OMG I had something very similar except he couldn't find his keys and then passed out in my car as I tried to drive him home and I couldn't find his wallet to find his house. He slept on my parents' couch for a few hours until I couldn't stand him being around anymore and took him back to his car (keys were in his jacket but he was an idiot, and wallet was in the bar's bathroom).

Jensen scowls at his phone blearily. It's only eight in the morning after a long and unfulfilled night and the person texting him shouldn't be in any shape to quite yet.

I'm assming a lot as woke up in parking lot

Jensen sighs and rolls over, tapping the phone against his forehead for a moment, trying to formulate a reply.

His biggest problem is that he'd had a massive crush on Jared-three-cubicles-over for an embarrassingly long time without doing anything about it. Jared was big, bright and sexy as hell. He was a genuinely nice guy, or Jensen had thought.

Jensen finally, finally worked up the nerve to ask Jared out and Jared had seemed really keen. He'd agreed and they'd headed to a bar Jared knew and had had a really good time, for about an hour.

That's when Jared's friends had shown up and the shots had started flowing.

I'm thinking a grand gesture is reqd

“Yeah?” Jensen replies noncommittally. Jensen’s actually pretty much a fixture on those boards, the anonymity helping him over his natural reticence (shy is such an unfortunate term) in public, in-person type circumstances. He doesn’t follow through with all of the guys he meets there, but really, there’s only so many times that he can come back to the dorm room to find it reeking of sex and Jared passed out-- mostly-naked, evidence of the night’s fun marked on his skin if Jensen looks closely enough-- before he has to go out and find some release ( ... )

Jensen spends the entire next day in a mild freakout. He goes back and forth over whether to just leave Jared hanging or to actually go through with it. Because if there was ever going to be a chance for him to get together with Jared, this was it. Worst case scenario: the semester is almost over and Jensen could offer to move out over the Winter break if Jared’s totally disgusted with him for… for any number of reasons ( ... )

I met a guy for an okcupid/blind date and we spent a perfectly lovely hour at a bar chatting. Then he wanted to "keep this going," and asked if I wanted to go to a movie theater to sit in the back row and make out, or go back to my place and watch a movie and make out. I said no and left. We are adults.

My high school boyfriend and I told his parents we were going to go back to my house in time to catch [some TV show], while instead we went to a parking lot to make out. When we got back to my house over an hour later, his parents had called mine and both were "wondering" why it had taken us so long to cover the distance. Cue poor excuses and embarrassment.
