Jensen is competing in the X-games....Jared is the reporter sent by ESPN to cover him....and ends up covering him in more ways than one. :D

He used to do it for the adrenaline kick. But there’s only so much adrenaline one can take.

Jensen lets go of the handles.

It’s barely more than a cot. Certainly not wide enough for two men their size. They never get to lay next to each other.

Jensen’s eyes flicker around in the dark, checking if really any curtain in the tour bus is drawn.

Jared hovers over him. “Relax,” he breathes.

His bike roars between his legs and there’s that moment. The moment before everything stills for a second.

It’s only high in the air that Jensen really feels free.

Jared’s weight presses him into the cot. Their naked chests glide together. Jensen fears his skin is about to sizzle off from the heat. “Jared,” he pants and grabs Jared’s face. He kisses him, deep and desperate, lips to lips, tongues warring. Nowhere else, he thinks. No marks, can’t ever leave marks. He’s getting sick of that

They are both completely naked for the first time. Jared’s on his side, half draped over him. The arm that props him up holds Jensen close. Its hand is cupping the back of his head and Jensen can feel the thumb stroking against his scalp as they kiss. Their tongues are dancing around each other. Jared alternates it with sucking on Jensen’s lower lip. Jensen doubts his lip can get any more plump, any more sensitive. Still, he doesn’t want Jared to stop

When his bike comes down, he grabs back onto it with his hands and legs.

He holds it tight and close. It’s one of the smoothest landings he ever managed.

When it’s over he gets full points from all the judges. The crowd’s still cheering.

He throws his arms in the air, shakes the champagne and rides a final round with his competitors.

They follow him backstage for the after show interviews and party.

Nate Adams flops down on the cushioned bench beside him. He claps a hand on Jensen’s shoulder, shakes his head and grins. “Seriously dude? All the prizes and all the girls? Leave something over for us

Wow, this was FANTASTIC! Intimate and hot and massive amounts of plot and relationship packed into and itty-bitty space. Great stuff! :)

Thank you :) I'm glad to hear that I managed to get all that across, even in such a short fic. I was a little worried that it made more sense in my head than it would make 'on paper' for the reader.

I'm also really sorry, though, because I probably won't be able to provide a sequel. I tried to make this short fic as complete as possible, since I don't have time to write more at the moment.
