J2 Baseball - Pitcher!Jensen and Catcher!Jared - bonus points if you include Chris Kane as 3rd baseman and Tom Welling as a Short Stop (they're called that right?)

So I got a little bogged down in the baseball stuff (because there is no way Welling would have the range or athleticism to play short) and mostly forgot the J2. Uh. Sorry about that ( ... )

It doesn't help that the A's shortstop might actually be a wizard, making Welling look even more like a range-less brick wall out there than normal. But whatever, they're the Giants and they have a reputation to maintain, which is being old and generally crappy. Thank you, Brian Sabean.

The A's pitcher, a big doughy white kid with a serious groundball tendency, gets some signal crossed between his brain and his hand and sends a meatball towards the plate. Padalecki makes him pay. They know it's gone just from the sound it makes off the bat, but they've all been properly schooled not to react until that ball's in the stands. Padalecki has been taught well, too, because he just puts his head down and runs like he doesn't know it's a homerun.

I think this might be my favorite paragraph out of the whole thing.

I love baseball, it's my favourite American sport and i have really no clue what a shortstop does - just the idea of calling Welling a short made me giggle. Sorry that it boggled your brain :D

My god it's all an innuendo! Jensen will pitch and Jared will catch. Kane get to third base while Welling stops short. Ahaha!
