I went to the snow today!

(For the northern hemisphere folks: "going to the snow" is what we do over here. Getting snow in the streets isn't going to happen - ever - so if we want to see snow, we have to drive three hours to some very small mountains with even smaller amounts of snow at the top - if it's cold enough ( Read more... )

Thanks for a bit of Austalia info. [It is very hot in NY now. 'going to the snow' sounds refreshing.]

And here I am thinking it's nice out today because it's like 80 degrees Fahrenheit. (According to the Net, that's 26.666666666666668 degrees Celsius.)

But sounds like fun! When we get snow here we're more like, "grumble, grumble, can't drive, can't go anywhere, grumble."

I've never gone skiing - I'm sure I'd be crap at it, though. :D

Hehehe. I have to "go to the snow" too... in my case, it's whenever I visit my parents or my grandmother in the winter.

No mountains anywhere nearby. I really want to see some snow-capped mountains someday....

The neat thing about the southeastern U.S., though, is that if it ever snows, even just a quarter of an inch, EVERYTHING shuts down. No one knows what to do! :D
