Justified Angstyness

Okay. So I was curious - and that tends to result in polls.

All the Buffyverse characters tend to get rather angsty from time to time, but I was wondering, who has the most justification for being angsty?

keyword-109, the buffyverse

Angstiness. Not angstyness ;-)

Yeah, I know...

But, even though I know "angstiness" is more correct, "angstyness" looks more correct, if that makes sense...

That was an awful lot harder than you might think.

I'm sure it was!

I only have a couple of answers figured out myself - but there's one in particular I'm sure of... and this poll is mostly to see if anyone agrees with me on that one.

I think I had the hardest time btw Darla and Andrew's reasons to be angsty. Seriously, Darla did not have an easy existence on these shows...

Oh, she really didn't...

You know, someone blessed with superpowers who spends all their time murdering the crap out of everyone they meet doesn't get a whole lot of sympathy from me.

I actually find Drusilla the most tragic figure in the 'verse. She was someone who was truly pure and committed to doing only good. She was violated, tortured, killed, forced to live a "life" that her real self would've been horrified by, and to top it all off, she lacks the ability to even have a true understanding of any of it.

Good point.

Isn't it funny how she's such a tragic character, and yet portrayed in a very comic way a lot of the time?

So will the winner of each round go forward to a three-way face-off? :-)

And is the winner the happiest one or the angstiest (sorry, angstyest) one?

Hmm... Possibly...
