It's that time of year again, I'm not doing the meme that various people have done, but just generally rambling.

Het sex is hard! I may have written it once or twice in comment porns, but that's it, I think! Then again, I'm not sure why it should be so much harder than femmeslash, which I've written a couple of times....

Also, I still applaud you for being strong enough to ditch that 3000 words from Hero - I'm pretty sure I would have tried to twist the story (most likely to its detriment) in order that I didn't have to lose all that work!

*All* sex is hard! I still dither a lot about writing slash sex, and I've written loads of that!

I think I've still got that 3000 words somewhere, just in case I decide to re-use it for another fic at a later date. It really wasn't working in the Big Bang because it hadn't been part of the original plan, it was a subplot that I tried to bolt on after I was already nearly halfway through writing it, and when I stood back and looked at it I realised just how much it didn't fit.

That's a great word count, and it's always nice to have a big story you're really proud of finished for the year.

At first I was worried that I wouldn't have enough plot in the story to reach the minimum word count of 35,000, but by the time it was done it had overshot that by nearly 10,000 word!

Not long to go now for Primeval. Yey!

It's a great thing to want to finish something so worthy as a Big Bang and actually doing it. Well done! I shall say nothing about the ridiculous mention of non-slash *g*
