Oh my goodness, I love this, and you! They have been ripped apart, crushed utterly, and it's hard to see how they can recover. Such a fabulous birthday present for me!!! :D

Poor Connor, he's hurt so bad, and Dan is there!! EEEE!!! *heart pitter patters*

Dan was scared enough for his friend, without having to take care of Connor as well. He had barely slept for the last three days as it was, and it looked like he could kiss goodbye to getting any sleep for the next few hours on top of that.
Oh poor Dan! Who will take care of him?? *hand shoots up*

“I know what they did, because they made me watch.”
Bloody hell!! I read the enticements warnings, but the horror of what happened was still a huge shock to read.

He turned back to Barclay and silently mouthed, “Get Tait.”
God, I love Dan. But oh crap, Tait is busy. *meeps more*

How long could he continue to push Connor away until he simply didn’t come back at all

This fic was partly prompted by that conversation you, Jaynedoll and Fred were having in the bookclub on Monday, I just substituted most of the characters and made it C/R instead. I still can't quite believe I wrote you epic rape!fic for your birthday! It's normally utter fluff when I write C/R for you.

Glad you liked Dan and the soldier boys, they had to make an appearance for you. And at least this time when I hurt the boys I gave them lots of comfort as well *grin*

I adored the angst of it all, I can't believe how much I *enjoyed* getting epic!rape fic for my birthday!
I'm still panicking about Ryan hiding the fact he did it for Connor, and Connor hiding the fact he spilled some beans. I had no idea these would be the legacy of the events. *huggles them* I'm going to pretend Dan helps them through it all *nods*

thanks, glad you liked it. The ice cream and Star Wars was a light moment in the midst of all the angst, and I think it was needed by that point! People occasionally accuse me of writing to much hurt and not enough comfort - hopefully there was enough comfort to make up for all the hurt in this one!

Bloody impressive piece of writing - you've really made this pairing into something special. Is this a one-off, or part of a new series? Would be great to see more, I'm intrigued to know what started all this, and who did it.

Oh, god no! I don't think even Little Miss Maim and Kill could keep up this level of angst over a series! No, this was a one off for Fi's birthday. It was only supposed to be a couple of thousand words, but then it kind of turned into a monster of a fic.

I did think about including more detail about the actual kidnapping, but eventually decided that the main focus of the story was the aftermath, and it was hard to get any more backstory in without detracting from that.

I have to admit, I did enjoy writing proper Connor/Ryan fic again, though, instead of just mini pwp ficlets or drabbles.

thanks. I do love Connor/Ryan angst, they're my fave slash pairing in the fandom, and I haven't written a proper full length C/R fic for ages so I quite enjoyed doing this (apart from the utter terror of it being a pile of rubbish when it was supposed to be for Fifi, but yeah, *apart* from that I enjoyed it!)

I did hurt the boys a lot in this one, but at least they got lots of comfort as well. Glad you liked it.
