A-LP film Popcorn - it doesn't suck as much as Avalanche!

As you probably noticed, it was my birthday recently, and I spent some of my birthday money having a splurge on Amazon and buying myself a couple of new Andrew-Lee Potts DVDs, namely the films Caffeine and Popcorn.

The kiss was totally unexpected. I may have rewound it and watched it a second time to be sure!

The middle pic definitely looks like Connor in a suit :-) You could probably get a fic out of that somewhere!

There was one screencap that I took (not one of these I posted) where he just looked exactly like Connor with his trademark goofy Connor-smile. Hmmm... Connor in a suit. I dread to think what occasion might make him do that!

he does look very, very tasty wearing glasses, doesn't he? I may have squeed rather a lot when I saw the screen test.

So are they real? I mean...I'd assume they are, but I know that some actors will take props to auditions...so that's why I'm wondering...because if they are...Mmmmm.

honestly, I don't know if he wears glasses in real life or not. I thought I might have seen another picture of him at a film premiere or event or something with him wearing glasses, but I can't remember for sure. I'd love to know if they are his real glasses or not.

He's dead cute in specs! Popcorn sounds rather fun.

And I maintain *nothing* can be as corny as Avalanche *bg*. I shall never forget the script and those polystyrene tiles in lieu of snow!

mmm... he does look unexpectedly tasty wearing glasses.

Avalanche was just... *shakes head sadly*. I did wonder in that interview that was linked to Denial earlier in the week when he mentioned working on some things that he wasn't proud of, if Avalanche was one of the things he was thinking of with that comment.

*nods* That's what I thought when I read the article... "He must be thinking Avalanche!"

Very cute! I agree with your thoughts on "Avalanche". I haven't seen it, but I know where you're coming from regarding movies that just make you wonder what on earth that actor was thinking when they agreed to do the movie. I tend to go along with the most favourite of quotes, "It helped pay the bills.," because certainly they've done other things that are more worthy of attention, right?

I suppose there is an elemant of taking anything that will pay the bills, and if you aren't a big name headline actor then you can't necessarily be choosy about what roles you take. But Avalanche certainly wasn't one of the high points of Andrew's career!

It's kind of like with the job situation now, that does one wait for a better role or do they try and make a little bit of money now and hope that everything turns out all right? Of course, Andrew could have loved being in that movie and thought very highly of it. I mean, people have criticized "The Bunker" yet watching the Behind-the-Scenes featurette it looked like Andrew was having the time of his life there. I'd be amused to hear Andrew's impression of a Michael Caine Cockney accent.

Andrew always seems to look like he's bouncy and enthusiastic about everything he works on. I sometimes wonder if he's really like that or if it's all part of an act he puts on to make himself look more appealing. I'd like to think he is really like that, but if it is an act then's it's a very convincing one.
