Crime novel recs

So, my plan to post to lj more regularly doesn't seem to have happened recently. I ought to get round to doing a general update post before too long, but for now this is mainly aimed at the book bingo gang, because I'm looking for book recs. Specifically crime novels with more of a focus on the forensics side of things, and/or cold case crime ( Read more... )

I wish I had some suggestions but yay on reading a new genre! If I come across one I will definitely pass it on!

That's awesome on the archaeology books! I going to venture a guess and say you've read the Amelia Peabody series by Elizabeth Peters?

Um... no to the Amelia Peabody series. I think I might have vaguely heard of them, but never read any. I may need to consult mr google or mr amazon on this subject!

I think you might like them! They are mainly Egyptian archaeology mystery type books. Very good!

Ooh, thanks. That had never actually occurred to me! I knew she did book reviews, but I hadn't realised it was specifically crime, and I'd never seen the website.

I'm no help here but the archaeology crime fiction sounds interesting.

I need to post here more regularly too. I keep trying but real life gets in the way.
