I admit to loving 300, but I was only introduced to it because I was a huge Gerard Butler fan and he was playing Leonidas. Had he not been in it I doubt it would have crossed my radar. As it is, it holds a really special place in my heart for many many reasons. Mostly because I met some of my best friends at the premiere. My name is also on the special features disc in theUK 2-disc DVD.
39 Steps is a classic which I am yet to read. I can recall it being on our bookcase at home when I was a kid.

Although strangely, not necessarily the non-fiction I had intended to read at the start of the year. I haven't got through very many of the huge pile of books about ancient Greece I have to read, but have been reading lots of popular science in 2018 instead. Oops! :-)
