So, did anyone else just watch In The Flesh? I thought it was rather good. I hadn't bothered with much of the promo stuff for it, so I wasn't entirely sure what to expect, but decided to give it a go and see what it was like.

Slightly predictable, but pretty good, seems to be the verdict after ep one. Anyone else got any thoughts on it?

I watched it. I thought it was a little slow, but I forgave them that since they were trying something new. I always let people have a lot of rope if something feels different.

I thought it was going to be more predictable than it was, I was worried half way through the episode that I knew exactly how the whole thing would play out and then it threw out a few surprises. But I'm willing to watch next weeks.

It looked from the teaser that next week's ep might get a bit more actiony, so that ought to get interesting.

It's always the problem of the first ep of a brand new series like this that you have to spend so long setting the scene and explaining the background, but they managed it without too much exposition, at least.

Mr FB and I watched him (him more reluctantly than me) but we both thought it was excellent.

I loved the world building, which I didn't think was at all heavy-handed, and the juxtaposition of normal and abnormal.

I'll definitely keep watching this. It has a lot of potential.

I think it's only three episodes, which doesn't seem a lot considering they had to spend so much of the first ep setting the scene and so on.

I'm quite hopeful for it, though.
