Large Matt/Becker graphics

I've been experimenting with GIMP, trying out a few light and texture effects, and came up with a couple of large Matt/Becker graphics. I know they're both entirely the wrong size and shape to be wallpapers, but if anyone wants to snag them they're both free to a good home

I was actually making the second one at the meetup while we were all sitting around the table. You were so busy with lsellersfic and basched you probably didn't get chance to see it.

If you want I can send you the GIMP files with all the layers, so you can see what went into them. Or else remind me the next time we have a meetup.

thanks. To be honest, I was mostly experimenting. Whether I'd be able to recreate the same effects a second time is another matter!

Lovely graphics. The effects on the second one are cool, but I think I like the first one best.

I need to learn how to do neat stuff like this with GIMP.

thanks. I am rather fond of the first one, but I think it looks a lot better as a full size picture rather than an icon.

GIMP is fun! But it does eat your time!
