Summary: Small-town Lawrence is caught smack-dab in the middle of a war between Heaven and Hell. Chuck Shurley is definitely - probably - maybe? - some kind of wizard, and Castiel might just be Dean’s totally unattainable soul mate. Hunters in a fantasy world where Pegasus-riding angels and sword-wielding demons are constantly at each other’s throats, all Dean and Sam are really concerned about is figuring out what happened to their dad. Somehow the search for John Winchester turns into a much bigger thing than either of them ever thought it would be. And Dean so did not sign up for this.
Acknowledgements: As always, this wouldn't have happened it not for the hand-holding of
9_of_clubs, though I played this one a little closer so hopefully she enjoys it. As usual, I put off sending this out to the last minute, but any children I have, first-born and subsequent, are owed to my wonderful and long-suffering beta,
cymbalism219. Any and all pirates were her idea and anything that was an error and has been fixed is thanks to her. (Anything that looks like an error that hasn't been fixed is all me.) And lastly, a big thank you to
daggomus_prime! Working with her has been a true pleasure and her art, as ever, is absolutely stunning!
