I can so very easily imagine this little insert in the episode itself, and it fits. I also believe that Sharon planted that loophole from the start [actually sort of called it when she emphasized that he had to list every single name, because Tao]. I always love their support of each other, and their working partnership - in life and work. They believe and trust in each other, and that is absolutely beautiful. And absolutely necessary in such male-driven workplaces. At least one thing I do love is seeing their obvious feminism, which is rare on primetime tv. *sighs happily*
ETA: Oh, and the honesty. That forthrightness that's the sign of a healthy and wonderful relationship. *nods happily*

I'm so happy you wrote this. Thank you! :)
When I watched this episode just now, I couldn't help but think of Raydor/Hobbs the whole time! How great was that episode for that??? :)
I immediately started hoping someone had pounced on the opportunity; so thank you, thank you, thank you for doing so and doing it so well!
In the episode, I was relieved that Hobbs voiced how despicable (and criminal) Malcolm was. Thank gods that did get resolved with him ending up behind bars.
As always, you did a great job of capturing what was on screen and weaving it into a believable additional scene. The way you have Sharon draw out Andrea as they continue to navigate their relationship (and even parenthood) is endearing, realistic, and comedic.
Thanks again!!! It's soooooo good to be reading your writing again! I really missed it!

During the episode, my ears pricked up and I grinned when I heard that evaluation of Andrea's skills. And I was of course tickled that the assessment came from Sharon.
Way to work that in! :)
