I know! I just about died! I had to watch it like 4 times before I could hear anything anyone was saying during that scene.

We must all be in the same time zone! Point #1
the guys were falling apart and the women were
taking care of them!lol.#2 I think the screen-
time has been reasonably fair. #3 I like to see
the ladies showing their brains and that they
were picked because they were the best for the job.
( Beta aside)
Yeah I liked seeing Zoe supporting Jen too. They are
doing a real good job with their friendship.I don't
know what to make of Nadia. One minute I like her then
the next minute I don't. Paula was more likeable this
week. Claire and Eve! Another dynamic duo! Evram calls
her Frenchie, I just find that cute. I don't know why.
But the 2 astronauts - was that Beta or just Donner's
guilt?

I loved the Frenchy nickname too! And that Donner called Zoe 'Z'. I liked that Nadia clearly knows where she lies in the triangle and I also like that Zoe is able to talk to Nadia and admit she doesn't like seeing their 'relationship or whatever' flaunted.

Good question about the 2 astronauts, I'm not sure either. Guess we'll have to find out a little more about what Beta really is.

I had the same reaction to Zoe's conversation with Nadia. Nice to see the girls having the balls for once...

I think the women bring about a zillion things to the table that the men don't, but I'm slightly biased LOL.

I think the screen time is good, not just comparing men/women but also different people and pairings. I don't feel like one specific pairing is monopolizing everything. Also, there's enough characters for it to be interesting and diverse, but not so many that there's not enough screen time to go around.

I can't wait to see more about Zoe's specialties and I love Jen's science experiments. I like seeing the individual specialties of everyone though.

Question: Anyone else slightly cringing at the Wass/Paula hinting this ep? I hate that it's like, 'a girl for every guy' pretty much. Like, I know 6 years is a long time, but I don't like that there is sexual tension between so many people on the ship already. Especially not those two, the others I don't mind.

lol. Paula and wass, well, they are both somewhat annoying.
I think they are better off together than messing with another
couple. Jen giving Evram TLC was a surprise, I thought she and Ted
would be hooking up. I think the whole idea is for the crew to pair
off and it will have to do with Beta's plan.( Zoe/Donner, Jen/Ted,
Evram/Nadia and Wass/Paula ) The thing is six years is a long time
so I half expect the pairs to play musical chairs.

I'm with everyone above. Loved how Jen went straight to Zoe. Love the Eve/Claire thing. I want more of the ladies for their own sake. They got to be there for the guys this episode, but it was still all about the guys. Evram's PTSD, Donner's hallucinations/beta/whatever visions, bringing AJ back. I'd like to see a main storyline where the women work together for something that isn't always about a guy. Kinda like Claire and Eve last week, Claire going to Eve with her questions and asking her, and Eve making the decision to bring her into it.
