Well. That was certainly rousing, wasn't it? One can never really quite know what to expect. On the other hand, at least some of the bigger picture is finally known. [There was a bit of a pause as he took a sip from a cup of coffee.] I do hope that everyone is well ( Read more... )

I wouldn't mind if the next storm has given us as much insight as this one has.

The information received was quite enlightening, yes. I wouldn't mind to learn more, but certainly not under such... circumstances as it turned out to be.

But that would make things boring.

But too much "action" also has the potential to become boring if it's the norm.

Did you figure anything out?

I've figured out that pumpkin cappuccinos are a bit overrated.

I meant about the dreamscape.

[then she frowns slightly.] Why are they overrated?

Actually I've learned that I'm quite interested in learning more about Nitiri now. Why did she do what she did? What's her driving force? Also? Injuries still hurt. That hasn't changed.

[On the other hand, his deals with the cappuccino could also have been just a bad day.] It was a bit too artificial for my taste. However, it's only based on a very small sampling pool of one.

It would seem you did. Sylvani gave people a chance to see what had happened in the past via a dreamscape and the "nightmare lady", herself, showed up and highjacked the dreamscape. People were stuck there for days.

[It was mostly just background information so if one didn't care about such things, he could understand there not being much disappointment with being there.]

Oh. Everyone's alive still. If they died in the dreamscape, they simply woke up here once more. The usual sort of thing applied. In the case of Nitiri, she was pushed back with a promise to return again. So one can only assume she'll show up sooner or later and try for evil again.

On the other hand, that would also depend upon one's definition of 'evil' since we only really know things from the side of Sylvani thus far.

With any luck there will be a bit of calm, yes. I daresay some of us need it now more than ever. [not that Austria was one of the people that probably needed the calm, but. It would be nice regardless.]

The calm is rather nice. There's more of a chance to get things done without worrying about things.

Precisely. Though Somarium does have a tendency to have some sort of strange happenings around the end of October, I've noticed, so whether this calm lasts for some time or not, I'm unable to say.

I suppose it does seem fitting, given that the place has scarecrows pretty much year-round from what I've seen. Whatever happens, though, I do hope it's not as disruptive as the latest events tended to be.
