[Some while after this. we are not obsessed. shut up.]

There's a lot to see on a nice day in New York, even if you're not up for extensive walking tours through Central Park or the Village. They did take a cab up to the Conservatory Gardens, for the view, and Andrew is making hopeful plans to ask Felix how he would feel about using a wheelchair for long enough to see at least some of the Metropolitan Museum of Art tomorrow. (And maybe theatre tickets. He's going to check tonight to see what's playing.)

But today there was Times Square, and the Staten Island Ferry, and a couple more personal areas of interest -- and before they pick somewhere good to have dinner, there's a friend Andrew wants to introduce.

The awning out front of the store is black, with swirly letters in purple and silver reading Alcina's Things.
