Wow, great picture ! You had me wondering there for a minute,,, where's she from... lol..
It looks so wintery, almost as if there's snow... Funny, I would probably never see that picture the way you did. It's nice to see this through your eyes.
Barrie, it definitely FELT wintery there and Quebec City was much colder! haha I actually wished that there had been snow as it would have been even prettier for photos. I have kind of a wish to go back during Christmas season... we'll see.
BTW what is that area called that has tons of blue lights above the street - very lively and full of clubs/bars? Would have stopped there if we weren't so exhausted from a full day.
I have been using Nikon for the better part of 14 years. I sold nearly all of it off a couple of years ago so now, I'm essentially starting from scratch.
Having played with all the new DSLR bodies out there now, I am still comfortable with how Nikon's operate but am very impressed with Canon's output quality, esp at high ISO.
Being a Canon user, I'm probably biased but I agree about the high ISO advantage. If you don't need all the advanced features from the 30D (or even the 1D Mark II), the Digital Rebel XTi (or XT) is quite a good pick for the price. If you shoot in studio or sports action, then you might have to reconsider. For everyday's usage, the Rebel XT can handle the job.
Great pic! November is probably the worst time of the year to come to Montreal. You'll have to come back either in February when there is lots of snow or in July when it's hot like crazy! Let us know if you come back!
Thanks for adding me. You know, my hub recommended that we wait until mid-winter for our getaway, but since I'm 7 months pregnant now I didn't want to delay it much longer. When a business matter came up in Montreal last week it just made sense to combine the business with pleasure. I'd love to go back for Carnivale, but I won't be able to do that until 2008 or later :)
