being faceless. anonymous November 3 2008, 00:23:19 UTC
do you really want to live this deplorable life with an even more regrettable existence?

what is your heart's true desire? to roam the world and feed hungry children or lounge on sandy beaches drinking pina coladas with money earned from waitering tables of holidaying caucasians and be content with a bigger-than-usual tip? or bemoan the next pay-raise isn't enough to cover the rising costs of inflation and other complicated economics jargon that only means completing the requisite paper chase and being a face in the crowd, getting a good, stable rice bowl by age XX, marry a good woman and have kids by age XX, watched kids graduate from brand-name schools and take care of grandkids by age XXX...................

why not follow your heart and chase the sun? filial piety is not being a face in the crowd and being unhappy.

okay i'm sorry for being KPO and bored at 922am.

I don't know what I really want. I know what I like, but that doesn't balance the equation. :\

How about trying to get more involved in activities that interest you? I don't think that means going all out and pursuing your dreams with no regards for anything. But sometimes, it feels like you are interested in stuff like poetry, film and stuff like that. Why not sign up for a course or something, do something that you feel belongs to you. I think that will make you feel much better. I'm sure you can make a difference in your life as long as you are more active and not bemoan as much. :)
