Thanks! I wanted to make it sweet, but hindsight makes anything set pre-11.02.83 a little sad.

Glad you liked it.

Thanks, I really wanted it to have the edge of sadness from knowing that it's all going to go horribly wrong.

Pleased you enjoyed it.

^_^ That's exactly what I was hoping for. It was written for my fanfic100 and there was a prompt 'storm' and it just made me think of what John said in 'Salvation'.

Thank you very much!

Wow, this was gorgeous. I love that glimpse of John, the wonderful father you know he'd been before the Demon took that all away. And Dean! First off, the firetruck on the floor made me smile. I always assumed Dean wanted to be a fireman as a direct result of witnessing his house catch fire and having his life altered forever in the process. But, I like the concept that he just always wanted to be one. And him giggling under the duvet with John was both adorable and heart-wrenching because you know it's all going to end very soon. Wonderful job :D

I always love seeing John as a father, not just as a hunter or a husband. He really does love his boys, that just gets a little lost sometimes.

As for Dean's firetruck, most of the boys I knew at primary school wanted to be a fireman, an astronaut or a policeman. I know he's a little young, but I imagine that the fire sort of reinforced his ideal and made it more solid.

Thanks for reviewing! I'm happy that you liked it.

Yeah, this fandom has so little true fluff in it... there's usually an edge of sadness. Poor boys...

I'm pleased you liked it. ^_^ Thanks!
