Very nice. I think you nailed the outsiders point of view, you could really see the familiar family dynamic between John and the boys. Also it was great to see how subtle John can be while on a hunt and that they don't always go in guns blazing. Plus if John was looking at me like that I think I'd tell him everything he wanted to know too. Thanks for an enjoyable read. KV.

As others have said, the idea of a hunter being subtle is new and appealing. And John does seem easy to talk to, like he reserves judgement.
