THIS.

On so many levels, THIS! You... you have made this BRILLIANT, like the sort of brilliant that breeds inarticulation! Every one I read I thought 'this one's the best bit' :OOO

You have paired them off so beautifully - Mrs. Hudson for Despair *clings to her* and Lestrade with Death (love on Death) and, and Mycroft for Destiny! LovedlovedloveLOVED the chained-to-desk thing at the end of his fragment.

You've encapsulated the mood and atmosphere of the Sandman series *perfectly* and blended it seamlessly with Sherlock and I am splutteringly incoherent and this comment WILL NEVER DO JUSTICE TO THE JOY THIS FIC GIVES ME :O

John and Dream. So right!

Your language use is wonderful, brilliant, vivid images and deliciously readable, like silk for the eyes.

LOVE! *adds to memories and goes back to re-read*

John and Dream - yes, very right indeed.

Benedict *would* be perfect to play Dream; no wonder John had such a sense of déjà vu.

This is absolutely lovely. Two of my favourite fandoms combined into one, and you made it so seamless -- the characters are still very Sherlock, but Sherlock if Gaiman wrote it.

Definitely bookmarking for future squee. :)
