Percival is certainly a pompous git here and I loved Gawain cutting him down to size. The players keep gathering and Morgana's mad rants are becoming less mad scene by scene.
Merlin's dream was vivid and surreal. I'm really liking the way events are unfolding in this. Arthur was believably pushed into a leadership role he's already taken and Merlin has become a voice of reason in this unreasonable time. It's all moving inexorably forward to some sort of clash. Let's hope the players are ready for it.
I love the way Arthur has been 'made' to take the role of the leader, it felt so natural and true. And Merlin is 100% right. The mere fact that Arthur was worried about being everyone's leader, showed just how right for the job he is... even if he isn't the once and future king of England... which, of course, he is. lol....And I have to say, I loved Arthur and Merlin's little moment too. I hope we'll be seeing more like that soon! >.<
Merlin's dream was brilliant, although worrying, considering he got stabbed by a sword... I wonder if we'll get to hear what the memory of the sword was, since surely it's going to help them get it back?
As for Tristan, unfortunately, he was very very realistic... I'm just glad that Gawain managed to knock him down a peg or two before he got any stupid ideas in his head. He and Percival were certainly unexpected additions to the party but I suppose the more the merrier, when the end of the world is concerned. ^.^ Anyway, great chapter! I can't wait to read more!
