I'm not a fan of "fallen Castiel" fics as a general rule, but this? Is lyrical and engaging and magical. I love this, his encounters, his sensations, his sheer newness in the mortal world. And the chance encounter with Sam and Dean is perfect. Cas is home, at last.

So very well done.
