Thanks, to me the whole prompt (lost in the wilderness with 7 items sounded like a fairy tale, I just had to figure out which one she was talking about.

Yep, it's definitely a Baba Yaga tale. Specifically the one where the step mom sends the daughter to 'grandmother's house' to fetch a needle.

Thanks! When was a kid, my mom used to decorate the outside of our house with our old costumes (with masks or painted heads for the face) and we named the old hag dummy 'Baba Yaga'.
