[ The feed turns on to show Elle pressed against the wall near a corner. Behind her a group of alien invaders is running down the corridor towards her. ]

[ An explosion shakes the screen. After a while the smoke lifts and Elle takes a careful peek around the corner

*Take note of the body sailing past you. It probably looks familiar. Especially now that it's bloody. Masky slides along the floor and comes to rest against the wall as a slew of guards come storming around the corner. RIGHT FOR YOU.*

She doesn't have time to prepare another explosive surprise. She allows a round of fire from her rifle to greet the nearest invaders, then hurriedly dodges behind the corner and attempts to pick off the rest.

PRESENT FOR YOU!!!

*Masky makes a miraculous recovery and sprints the distance between them, tackling one of the aliens to the ground and it's now pummeling time. This is a good idea when they have guns, Elle has guns, and they're both firing at each other.*

That miraculous recovery is very undesired. Elle almost mistakes Masky for a new target. Scratch that, she does mistake Masky for a new target, but his quick pummeling move prevents her from obtaining the bullet souvenir that comes with it.

When she sees the error of her ways she instantly... doesn't exactly give a crap. She does however use the distraction caused by Masky's pummeling to get close to the remaining attackers. A new katana has been purchased from the vendors recently and it would be insulting not to put it to good use.

I knew you wanted one.

*Good thing he hasn't even noticed you're there. And so the pummeling contines. He'd appreciate Elle not chopping off pieces of him as he tackles another one of them.*

And chop. And CHOP. And chopCHOP.

It doesn't take long until she's done and the only ones left standing are Masky and his current pummel victi--

*Needless to say he doesn't notice the alien is dead for some time. Once he realizes he's punching a corpse he gets up and wipes his bloody knuckles off before turning to face Elle.*

[ Elle produces a cloth from her pocket and wipes the blood off the blade while taking a sideglance at Masky. ]

Got yourself hurt?

[ She remembers his entrance. Didn't exactly look pain free. It goes without saying that she isn't asking out of concern. ]

*And now he'll just be wandering away down the halls.*

She is tempted to call after him, but can't really find a good reason to do so.

At least that will be a fun anecdote for Tim some other time.

She shrugs and leaves in the opposite direction.
