This weekend!

There are rally cars all over town, in fact, there are two teams prepping their cars on the side street outside of work right now, and that's making the anticipation almost too much to contain! I can't wait to see a bunch of maniacs powering through the forest at triple digit speeds.

About 4 years ago, the Subaru team set up camp outside my apartment where I was living (probably there now on Cornell). I walked around looked at the three cars they brought with them, the truck etc.. Nice group of folks.

Dave dreams of having a real blue/gold Sub Rally WRX... neat shit.

Red Lion Inn across from the airport looked like - well I guess it WAS - a rally staging area. They were zooming the cars up and down Cornell last night too. You planning on catching any of the racing?

Haven't decided yet. As of this moment, my weekend is unplanned.

The hotel by Streets of Tanasbourne there (shares a parking lot with the Chipotle/Starbuck's) is where they stayed that last time. So my guess is they were there again. Because they have full suites with kitchens there so it's conducive to a week-long stay.

I never decided whose crazier rally drivers, or the fans that stand out in the road to get a better view.

I've seen enough videos to know not to stand on an outside curve, or pretty much anywhere down-slope of the racing. I fear the yellow tape. I'm gonna find a nice thick tree on a hill and stand behind it. Zoom lens FTW.
