I don't understand how can you do this kind of icons without coloring the caps?

For the coloring on the images I use psds that I found on tumblr, deviantart, etc. I don't make my own coloring because I'm not capable to do it from the beginning; usually I modify the levels for the different caps but the credits for the coloring are to other graphic makers not mine (in the resource post).
Then I use a lot of textures, blending and I like to use close crop, maybe too many times XD
I want to specify this because I don't wanna give the impression of taking the credits for other people's works (:
