Vesuvio speaks... in womanly tones. I suspected that he was the figure mentioned in your last translation, but the womanly thing made me doubt. I guess he's not all that different from Vyers, hee...
I am developing an unhealthy dislike for Yasurl. A very unhealthy dislike. On the other hand, Flonne's threatening the position of my favorite fictional character. Hmhmm!~
They seemed to be in the middle of something? Hurriedly tidied up their clothes? Eh?
You have no idea how much I wanted Yasurl in the actual games just so that I can ram a lv.9999 meteor impact into her.:/ But Flonne is surprisingly awesome in the novels. Even though Laharl took the spotlight in the climax, Flonne delivered the last blow and even murdered a demon-eating creature somewhere along the way. Later on she even becomes the 'master' of a group of God Mode Sues(if robot-like things could even be called that...) simply because she carried her figures to Celestia and the robots believed that she was their prophesied creator(she wasn't, but the robots don't care as long as she has the figures).
Laharl does use Blazing Knuckle on occasion, but magic seems to be more prevalent, and Laharl seems a lot more proficient than his game stats would imply(is good at high level spells like giga fire and omega star). I haven't seen him drop meteors yet, but then again, I'm not quite finished with the novels
*RAGES HARD AT YASURL* I just....I don't even...can't articulate.... *hugs Laharl* ;A;
My God, Flonne is an epic badass in these novels. From her "Bitch, I'm angry," to her casual pwnage of Yasurl, don't friggin mess with Flonne, she's a BAMF.
Gordon and Jennifer...interrupted...OMG. These novels are the best things ever. BEST. THINGS. EVER.
It's rather impressive how the two brothers turned out so different... well okay some things seem to be quite alike... poor Flonne, having to see all that XD
Is Yasurl supposed to be really powerful, or was Etna just having a bad day? Because I have the feeling D2 game!Etna would have just caught that whip with a shrug.
Yasurl is decent at fighting, but she's no frontliner. It's outright stated in book 4...or was it 5? That Yasurl is pretty much a greenhorn in terms of battling capabilities. It's implied that Etna in On Love(which is pretty close to D2 Etna) can wipe the floor with her. However, this battle was set 100+ years before that, so it might be a mixture of Etna not being as good and just having a bad day.

In any case, thank you for the translation!
