It's all slanderous fiction. The reason no one in Japan complains about the health care system is because everyone loves the health care system over here. Annual health check-ups are mandatory, costs are low, life expectancy is high, medical bill bankruptcy is unheard of, and access to doctors and hospitals is incredibly easy. The other day I was feeling sick so I scheduled an appointment to see my doctor. Two hours later, I was sitting in his office. Fifteen minutes after I left, I had my prescription medication in hand.
