If yr wondering why I haven’t blogged about Sarah Palin’s hypocritical “I’m an average working class hockey mom who spends more on clothes in two months than 90% of Americans make in a year”:

It’s because (1) lorilori  does it better, and  (2) I’ve been waiting for Jon Stewart to get around to it and put it on the Internets.

It's the only good song on that album (and I say that as a longtime Bowie fan) but it's one of the most awesome lyrics anyone has ever written.

It's a terrific song. I think the timing was bad, though--if Bowie had put it out a couple of years earlier it would have done a lot better. Too much guitar for 1999, too grungy a sentiment for the rising era of shitpop...
