I love the new way that Dee and Sean get together. It's not quite perfect yet, but it feels more right than the other did. It works for them. And I think that Dee knew before her accident that Sean had feelings for her. I kinda want her and Gram to have talked while waiting for Sean and Pop. And Dee would be open about her feelings for Sean b/c as

Drew doesn't think surfing is a waste of time. He surfs himself sometimes, he just isn't as good at it as Alex.

I think Chris should just hang around Drew. He needs to get used to her presence again. He hasn't been close to anyone since his best friend died except for Alex, and his sister of course. He has distanced himself from everyone else - including Kerry, which breaks her heart. He doesn't want her to know things he's done. As for Brice, Drew (rather stupidly) thinks that he won't understand.

Once he gets used to Chris, he will want to ask her out himself. And would. The boy has never lacked confidence. :p

And I like that idea about Gram and Dee - Gram would be unable to stop herself from telling Dee that her boy is in love with her. Not if she knows the feelings are returned.

Brice wouldn't simply let Drew pull away from him. He's his father and he worries constantly about the boy. Has since he was born and will until one of them dies. He'd come in and spend time with him. Talk to him if Drew didn't talk back.

I think that Chris simply does spend time with him. He's her best friend. And always has been. She's just been out of touch for a few years.

And Gram would know. Dee would tell Gram that she's in love with Sean and the only reason she hasn't said anything yet is that she wanted to be certain that he loved her too. And not simply as a close friend.
