Every day she is out on the streets, taking care of those who can’t take care of themselves. She knows them by name and they know her too. When they see her coming down the road, they run to her car, excited to see that she is back again, even though she is there every day. They are excited because they know she brings good things. She brings food

This was AWESOME! I never had heard of her charity before, but I love it already. I absolutely adore animals, and I love what she is doing.

Thank you for encouraging me to do this! It was a lot of fun! This charity has become very near and dear to my heart since both of my dogs are rescues. My cousin actually introduced me to Gateway Pet Guardians - she's the group's secretary! If I ever get the opportunity to move back to St. Louis, I'm going to become a foster mom!!!

Thank you! I agree - P.J. is awesome!!! I hope I can meet her some day :o) Pixie and I went to college together and it has been fun reconnecting with her and I'm excited to make new friends!

This was a lovely story. Thank you for sharing it... our dog is a rescue as well, and so I often I lie down next to him and whisper to him how glad I am that he came to live with us.
